Carey Tunnel, the Queens Midtown Tunnel, Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge, Henry Hudson Bridge, Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge, Bronx Whitestone Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge and the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. The Authority is interested in implementing a Facial Detection System, in a free-?ow highway environment, where vehicle movement is unimpeded at highway Speeds as well as bumper-to- bumper traf?c, and license plate images are taken and matched to occupants of the vehicles (via license plate number) with Facial Detection and Recognition methods from a gantry-based or road-side monitoring location. Speci?c camera types and locations may vary depending on ?eld conditions and system requirements in the new cashless environment. The Authority is reaching out and is seeking information from the Video/Security Industry to determine the level of interest for a turnkey system for Facial Detection and Recognition Systems in a highway transportation environment. The submission shall consist of a 6 and may include, but are not limited to, a vendor's standard literature, catalog information, sample speci?cations, quali?cations of the ?rm and previously completed projects. The Authority may request thatvendors provide a technical presentation, a- product demonstration and a sample mockup for evaluation at the Authority's facilities to further describe their products. The Authority may request that Contractors attend a meeting at the Authority?s 2 Broadway of?ce to further describe their systems.
