Deputy Sheriff Kentae Greene December ?16, 2008 Page 2 Minimum Maximum (1) First Offense: Dismissal. 5 days? suspension without pay. TO WIT: On or about October 9, 2008, you were not scheduled for work, either as a regular assignment or on overtime. You went to the Jail in civilian clothes and went to the 6?South Housing Unit at approximately 5:00 pm. Lieutenant Earl Glenn, Unit Manager, was on the floor assisting staff assigned to the Unit with feeding. You interrupted Lieutenant Glenn in the performance of his duties and shoved a piece of paper in his hand. He construed your behavior and demeanor to be erratic and threatening. That same afternoon, Chief Jailer McNeil met with you about the incident. Chief McNeil informed you that he was placing you on administrative leave and instructed you to surrender your identification card. You refused to comply with his instruction. He repeated the order and you again refused to comply. Only after Captain Larry Lindsey issued the order for a third time did you comply. Based upon the information set forth above, I was considering your dismissal. Before I made my decision, I gave you an opportunity to give me your side of the story or otherwise respond to me orally or in writing or in person. I reserved Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 3:00 pm. to meet with you. You exercised that option. Based upon all of the information available to me at this time, have determined to withdraw these charges. No further 'pn will be taken against you. Sincerely, MYRON E. FREEMAN Sheriff cc: Paris 0.
