Association for Responsible Alternatives to Workers’ Compensation 2015 Membership Application arawc.org richard@arawc.org (512) 422–5904 The Association for Responsible Alternatives for Workers’ Compensation (ARAWC) was founded in 2013 with the goal of advocating before state legislatures to allow employers to have the option of offering alternative benefit plans to traditional workers’ compensation insurance. ARAWC membership categories and dues levels are listed below. Membership applications are subject to the approval of the ARAWC Executive Committee. Full Member ($25,000 annual dues): Full Members receive one position on the Board of Directors and one vote on issues before the Board of Directors and the general membership. In addition, a Full Member is eligible to serve in an ARAWC officer position, to serve as the chairperson of one committee, and may participate as a member on an unlimited number of committees. Full Members can attend the annual meeting, participate in periodic membership meetings, receive newsletters and updates on plans and association activities, and have their corporate logos included on the ARAWC website. Founding Members are considered Full Members. Sponsoring Member ($10,000 annual dues): Sponsoring Members receive one vote on issues before the general membership and up to two positions on committees. Sponsoring Members can attend the annual meeting, participate in periodic membership meetings, receive newsletters and updates on plans and association activities, and have their corporate logos included on the ARAWC website. Associate Member ($5,000 annual dues): Associate Members receive one position on a committee. Associate Members can attend the annual meeting, participate in periodic membership meetings, receive newsletters and updates on plans and association activities, and have their corporate logos included on the ARAWC website. Friends of ARAWC ($1,000 annual dues): This membership level is limited to employers with fewer than 100 total employees or more than 90% of total operations in a single state.
