"Blank you for the information. We proudly produce rabbit for U.S. consumers in our USDA
inspected plant. Rabbit is an excellent source of nutritious protein that many consumers Enjoy
and have enjoyed in this country for hundreds of years. We also take pride in our animal care
and food safety practices which we are confident are among the best in the nation. By the very
nature of USDA's continuous presence in our plant, inspection personnel from time to time
identify areas we can improve. We welcome their input and work closely with USDA to ensure
the safest product possible. Records obtained by your station under the Freedom of Information
Act are incomplete because they only contain observations made by USDA but do not include
the actions taken by our company in response to those observations. Therefore, any of our
products sold in commerce bearing the USDA inspection mark assures the customer that our
rabbit products were produced in full compliance with federal inspection rules. 1am confident in
serving our products to my family and our customers should be as well!
