In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Praise is to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet
Muhammad, his family and all his companions.
My precious son, God protect him
Peace and God’s mercy and blessing be upon you.
I hope this letter will reach and you are in good health. We
received two chips from you, and I opened one with a lot of
effort. It contained messages from you to us dated 17 Rabi’
Awal, and a message from Umm ‘Abd-al-Rahman, and also some films
-- the most noticeable of them being “Firepower,” and a voice

Precious son, I read your letter and God bless you and give you
success, and only God knows how I feel about your stability, and
this is my only son. Until this moment I do not know when his
matter will be settled (TN: the writer began the letter talking
to his son, and then he began talking to someone else), and I
pray day and night to join you with your children, amen. They
have not forgotten you, and they always ask about you. They are
fine and well and we surround them with our love, and we shower
them with all that we possess of compassion and affection -- why
not, and they are a part of me, and “God have mercy on her.” She
was my mother, my friend, and my comfort in this life, but
praise is to Allah, “We are to God and to him is our return.” Oh
Allah give me rewards in my misfortune, and compensate me better
than her. Ten years ago, she told me, “Do not be sad. I see
myself standing at the door of Paradise and knocking on the
door. He asked who? And I said, I am Khadijah. And then I
entered under a beautiful tree and all of you came with me.”
Yes, she preceded us, but we will follow her to heaven, God
willing.

goes to school. She takes the books and reads BA TA and DA. She
concentrates on BA, but Hamzah, he is busy playing with his
Uncle (Maternal) Ibrahim, and he likes to make airplanes and
ships from papers and he blows on them by his mouth to fly
higher.
They all send their regards and their condition will please you.
And finally, my father sends his regards.

Peace and God’s mercy and blessing be upon you.
Your letter, dated 16 Rabi’ Awal, has arrived, and I was very
happy for it, and it assured us of your status, and we are fine,
Praise is to Allah.
In regard to the ID card. Yes, father knows, and it would be
nice if you send me the answer about it as soon as possible, and
peace and God’s mercy and blessings be upon you.
