Narrative
On 21JAN13 at about 1826 hrs. I was working as OPD patrol unit 2T51. I was wearing full OPD utility unifonn and I was driving marked
patrol car #1420. I responded·to the 1900 blk of Seminary Ave to assist officers who advised of an officer needs help call (9408).
Officers on scene advised that an officer had been shot and that armed suspects fled into the yards.
Upon arrival I deployed my department issued patrol rifle due to the fact that there were outstanding armed suspects in the perimeter.
I was designated as lethal cover on the DAT in the 1900 blk of Seminary Ave. Once the SWAT team arrived I maintained a perimeter post
in the 1900 blk of Seminary Ave.
I: remained .at my post until advised to relieved.
I did not observe any use of force.and I did not use any use of force.
PDRD was not used due to my perimeter position.
There are no known witnesses.
