To answer the below questions, the District of Columbia National Guard does not
conduct any courts-martial proceedings. We rely on civilian law enforcement to
investigate and prosecute sexual assault cases. We refer criminal cases to local law
enforcement. We remove members who have committed crimes by administrative
action. There is no statute of limitations for adverse administrative actions.
