REMARKS 
On the above date and time i responded to area in reference to a possible burglary in progress.

Prior to al'I'lVoI dispatch advised the complainant was watching two male subjecis one white male and
one black male trying door handles on vehicles and entering Inside them Just pnor to
arriving dispatch again advised the complainant stated the subjects were now running down the
street while also Upon arrival I was met by the complainant on Grand
Palmetto Way at Night W'Ind Terrace. He immediately started the subjects fled on foot between the

At that time i deployed K-Q for a track at the last known location. K-9 Tomy Immediately began
trucking soulhbound between the residences before making a turn westbound behind the residences
I then observed a black male wearing a red hat and dark clothing walking
behind the residences. I began giving loud verbal commands "Police K--9 Stop" the subject
subsequently looked at me and began running westbound in between houses. At mat tirneI began
pursuing the subject on foot along with K79 Tomy who was still ammed to his tracking lead. We
came out to the front of the houses at which time the subject was still running but in a southbound

direction. Again I yelled "Police K-9 Stop", lhe subject refust again at which time I gave Tomy

the command to bite and released him. K-9 Tomy and the subject went out of sight as they rounded
in between residences. #5 I caught up I could hear the subject yelling to get the dog Upon
contact K-9 Tomy was engaged on the subjecis left lower leg and the subject was attempting to pry
K-9 Tomy? mouth from his leg. I began giving verbal commands to stop ?ghting the dog and put
his hands up. He immediately complied at which time I gave K-9 Tomy the command to release.
K-9 Tomy released and me subject was taken into custody by back up of?cers. I then heard Sgt.
Laden#214 yelling at another subject approximately 10 feet from me in the brush to get onto the
ground. It was the outstanding suspect, he also was taken into custody. North Port Fire Rescue
responded and transported the bitten subject to North Port ER for medical treatment. Photographs
were taken and placed into property and evidence. I-went back along me route we ran looking for

They were located alongside a few residences.
