She asked me to let him know she got the paintings and ms doing fine. Afier that. whenever he wanted me to contact his daughter, I would text her. We mostly talked about the paintings or how Inmate MATT would complain about his back being sore. JAMIE told me she was glad her father had someone on the inside who was looking out for him. After the first time I spoke with JAMEI, I went on the intemet and looked at some of Inmate MATT's pictures and they were very good. In November 2014, I asked Inmate MATT if he could paint a picture of my three kids for my husband, for our anniversary on April 14, 2015. I gave him a photo and he said it would take a few months to do a painting like that. In exchange for the painting, I agreed to buy him a pair of speed bag gloves that have the padding to protect the knuckles. Inmate MATT brought me a book where I could order them. It "ms the inmate catalog. He showed me which one I was supposed to buy, I bouglfingji? MATT the gloves. It was the first thing I ever gave him Sometime in 2 nmate MATT asked me to get him a pair of glasses with the lights on them He wanted two pairs, and said he and Inmate 2 ENELOSUHE 'i -Q SWEAT were going to use them to paint at night. He provided me with a script of 1.75 or 2.00. I ordered the glasses off E-bayi The E-bay account is under my husband, LYLE name, but he did not know about it, Our anniversary came and the painting was not done. Inmate MATT told me he spilled something on the painting and had to start over. It was around this same time that I started bringing more stuff into Inmate MATT. Ibrought in cookies brownies, pepper and other food items. Around the end of April 2015, I was in fielder with Inmate MATT, to get a pan offs machine. We were alone and Inmate grabbed me and kissed me. It startled me. He kissed me with an open mouth kiss. Ididn't say anything because I was scared for my husband, who also works in the facility. I used my debit card and bou it at either K-Mart or Walmart. In the beginning of May 2015. we were in 11:99)? again, getting some stuff. Inmate MATT would come over to my desk, with his big coat on. This happened 2 or 3 times. The only other physical contact I had with Inmate MATT, was when he kissed me at the bottom of the first set of stairs. He never touched any of my private areas Around the beginning of May 2015, Inmate MATT asked me to get him two hacksaw blades. This was afier I bought the bit I bought the blades at Wal>>Mart and brought them into work, in my bag. I gave them both to Inmate MATT. initially told me it was for making frames, but I later found out that Inmate MATT and Inmate SWEAT had cut a hole in the wall and were going down into the pipes. Sometime around this time, I also bought them watch batteries for the glasses I had given them I found out about the hole because Inmate MATT was coming into work tired I asked him about sleeping and he said he was up all night. Afier a couple days, he told me he and Inmate SWEAT had 2 hi" EECLOSURE '1 *3 cut the holes and were going down in the pipes. I was already bringing stuff in to him, and didn't really feel I could stop. I have known about them cutting the hole in the wall for about 3 or 4 weeks. Inmate MATT told me they had found a tool box with power tools under the facility. They were using them to get out though the pipe system. Inmate MATT told me they were getting out and we were all going to be together. By this he meant Inmate SWEAT, him and I. On May 12, 20l5, Inmate MATT asked me to call a number for him. He gave me the number told me to call the number and ask for Diane or Diana I was supposed to act like I worked at a doctor's office and say would like to confirm a Dr.'s appointment on Saturday or Sunday at 4:00 pim.Y at Alice Hyde Hospital". He told me they would bring me a package and I was supposed to bring it to him He told me to give them a description of my vehicle and meet them at that time. The package was supposed to be the same size as the food items I normally bring in for lunch. I do not know whautisupposed to be in the packages and I never picked any of them up. I started to call the number that night at 6:06 p.m.s but got scared and hung up, before it rang. I received a call back from the number at 6:25 but I blocked the call. The next day, Inmate MATT asked me ifI called the number and I told him I didn't. He told me to call that night. On May 13, 2015, 1 called at 6:20 but hung up again before it rang. 1 dialed again at 6:21 p.m. and hung up afier 7 seconds. At 6:36 prm.Y I called and asked for Diane or Diana. A guy picked up He sounded Spanish. I asked for Diane or Diana, I can't remember which. He said there was no one there by that name. I told Inmate MATT the next day. He said I was supposed to speak with 3 Diane or Diana He said he would check into it The next day, May 14, 201 S, Inmate MATT told me I was now supposed to ask for BREE, I called at 5:30 pm that night and got an answering machine. The machine said "you have reached the voice male of (there was no name), please leave a message after the beep". I hung up and called again at 5:32 pm. A female answered, When I asked for BREE, she said she was BREE and I told her the message. The first time I was told the message, Inmate MATT said I could say either Saturday or Sunday, whenever I would be able to meet them. After that, he said to use Sunday. I told them Sunday at 4:00 but I forgot to give them my vehicle information Inmate 4 St ENCLOSURE MATT asked me about it on May 15, 2015, and I told him I forgot to give them the vehicle information. He told me to-call them back that night. I told Inmate MATT I was not comfortable doing this and h??hst let it go. This past Wednesday, June 3, 2015, Inmate MATT asked me to call the number again. He said to call the number and give the message. I called that night at 7:58 p.m. I got the answering machine. On Thursday, June 4, 2015, he told me to call again. I called again that night at 5:48 p.m. and 6:34 p.m. It rang several times and went to a voice mail both times. The ?rst time it was 11 seconds and the second time it was 12 seconds. I did not leave a message. I called again at 6:44 p.m. and it rang, but after 5 seconds, it went directly to voice mail. The last time I called was at 7:27 p.m. and it rang. After 4 seconds, it went to voice mail. On Friday, June 5, 2015, I got up and went to work with my husband. We drove the Jeep, like we almost always do. I got to work around 7 to 7:15 am. I worked in "?15040 I. The inmates arrived between 7:45 am. and 8:00 p.m. Inmate MATT _showed?up around this time. He told me that they were getting out tonight and re all going to be together, me, him and Inmate SWEAT. He told me to pick them up in Dannemora, near the power house at midnight. The plan was that I was going to leave my husband and meet him there and we were all going to leave together. He did not say where we were going to go. He asked me to bring a shotgun that he could saw off. That day, I got into an argument with Correctional Of?cer BAKER, in the shop. He wanted to write up the inmates for standing around. I told them they did not have enough work. I ended up calling my boss and asking for the sergeant. My supervisor called and I ended up arguing with him also. The inmate went back around 3:20 and I left with my husband around 3:30 p.m. We stopped at the Chinese restaurant, across from the Malone State Police Station for supper. When we got home, I was not feeling well. I laid down and was having a panic attack. I slept for a bit and when I got up, I didn?t feel better. LYLE asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital and I said yes. We left for the hospital between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and went to the Alice Hyde Medical Center Emergency Room. I stayed there until 2:00 am, when they said they were going to admit me overnight. LYLE left to go let the dog out. I got to my room between 2:15 am. and 2:30 am. I called LYLE around 2:30 am. to 3:00 am. He decided to stay home and get some sleep. 5 a 76' I shut my phone off until around 6 am. or 7 am, when I called LYLE back and asked him to bring my medication to the hospital. LYLE arrived back at the hospital around 8 am. I checked my phone around 11:30 am. and it had a bunch of messages from my family that the police were looking for me. I ended up checking out and coming to the New York State Police Station in Malone at 1:00 pm. I was questioned, but did not tell the whole truth. Today, LYLE and I saw Investigator THOMAS BROWN at Wal?Mart and told him I needed to speak to him. I am now telling the truth. I never picked up Inmate DAVID SWEAT or Inmate RICHARD MATT. I was supposed to, but didn?t. About two months ago, Inmate MATT had said they were going to get out, but I have only known about them getting through their cell wall for the past 3 or 4 weeks. I do not know where they would have gone and have not brought them any other item. To my knowledge, they do not have a gun or a cell phone. I am really sorry for what I have done. Nothing follows. I understand the rights Investigator Brown advised me of yesterday still apply for today. I would like to explain the details of the escape plan Inmate Matt, Inmate Sweat and I had agreed to. Inmate Matt asked me for the tools they would need to break out of Clinton Correctional. Each time he would ask me for a tool, I would go to the store and get them. I would bring the tools into the facility and give them to Inmate Matt. I was aware these tools were being used by Inmate Matt and Inmate Sweat to escape. The day they were supposed to escape I was supposed to give my husband, Lyle, 2 pills. These pills were intended to knock Lyle out so I could leave the house. After Lyle was asleep, I was supposed to drive to Dannemora and meet them by the powerhouse. The agreed upon meeting time was midnight. I summons 5 I6 was to drive my Jeep and bring my cell phone, gps, clothes, a gun, tents, sleeping bags, hatchet, ?shing poles, and money from a package I never picked up. Afterl picked them up, the plan was to drive to my home and Inmate Matt was going to kill ?the glitch.? Inmate Matt referred to Lyle as ?the glitch.? After Inmate Matt killed Lyle, we were going to drive somewhere. I can?t remember where we were going to go, but I know I was told it was around 6?7 hours away. The reason I was supposed to drive my Jeep was because the place we were going to was in the woods. They told me the road into the woods was rough and a four wheel drive vehicle was needed. We were going to stay at this place for about a week, until it quieted down. After it quieted down, Inmate Matt would go off by himself, and Inmate Sweat and I would be together. On June 5, 2015, Inmate Matt told me it was the day he and Inmate Sweat were breaking out of the facility. I know I had agreed to help them escape and run away with them, but I panicked and couldn?t follow through with the rest of the plan. I really do love my husband and he?s the reason I didn?t meet Inmate Matt and Inmate Sweat. I didn?t want anything to happen to? Lyle and I couldn?t imagine being without him. I believe I helped Inmate Matt and Inmate Sweat escape because I was caught up in the fantasy. I enjoyed the attention, the feeling both of them gave me, and the thought of a different life. I am at the New York State Police Station in Malone, New York, speaking to Investigator Scott T. Weightman, of the New York State Police, and Special Agent Michael Dwyer, of the US. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, relative to my involvement in the escape of two Inmates from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannernora, New York. EHCLOSURE 67?4 . I have previously provided two statements relative to my involvement in the escape of Inmates David Sweat and Richard Matt. During the course of those statements I did not provide all the information I knew about how they escaped and the plan the three of us had made. I had previously stated I brought hacksaw blades into the facility and gave them to Inmate Matt. I originally brought in two blades, by bending them in half and putting them in some hamburger, which I then put in the freezer. I brought the frozen hamburger into work and put it in the freezer where I work. Inmate Matt stated he would have CorrectiOnal Of?cer Palmer pick up the hamburger and bring it back to his cell. Inmate Matt stated he told C.O. Palmer it was for goulash. C.O. Palmer came and got the frozen hamburger out of the freezer and put it in a yellow envelope. Inmate Matt put a couple small jars of paint in the bag, so if the bag went through the metal detector, they would think it was the metal tubes of paint. Inmate Matt said if C.O. Palmer heard there was going to be alockdown or cell search, he would take the paint and whatever else he wasn?t supposed to have out of his cell. Inmate Matt bragged about drinking alcohol with CO. Palmer, but she doesn?t know if C.O. Palmer brought in any alcohol, or if it was alcohol Inmate Matt had made. On one occasion I brought rum and Coca Cola in for inmate Matt. I brought in approximately a half a water bottle full of rum and the coke was in another container. The second time Inmate Matt asked me for hacksaw blades, he also asked for two chisels and a punch. I bought the blades, chisels and the punch at Wal Mart. I bent two hacksaw blades in half and put them in the hamburger, along with the two chisels and the punch. I noticed this made the hamburger quite heavy. I froze the hamburger and took it into the facility. It was a Friday and CO. Palmer didn?t work until Saturday. Inmate Matt told me to leave the freezer unlocked and he would have 00. Palmer pick it up on Saturday. When I returned to work on Monday, the hamburger was gone. Inmate Matt said he had gotten the items, so I assume 00. Palmer brought them to him. The hamburger I used was the hamburger in the long packages you get at Walmart. It has a museum pink wrapping. I also have another two hacksaw blades that I did not bring in. I put them in my husband?s tool box and they are still there. Another thing I was not totally truthful about was the pills I was supposed to give to my husband, LYLE. Sometime around Monday, May 25, 2015, Inmate Matt gave me two pills to drug my husband LYLE with. I took the pills home and put them in a drawer, next to the medicine cabinet, in my bathroom. I forgot about the pills since I did not go through with the original plan. Sometime this week, since I have been speaking with the police, I took the pills and ?ushed them down the toilet. I do not know what the pills were and can only describe them as small round pills. I had also previously mentioned that I had passed notes to Inmate Matt to give to Inmate Sweat. Some of those notes were of a sexual nature, but I never had any sexual contact with Inmate Sweat, only Inmate Matt. I did take some naked photos of my breasts and vagina and gave them to Inmate Matt, to. give to Inmate Sweat. I do not know what they did with. the photos. This is all I can remember. Nothing follows. manna (Penal Law 210.45) In a written instrument, any person who knowingly makes a false statement which such person does not believe to be true has committed a crime under the laws of the state of New York punishable as a Class A Misdemeanor.
