Thank you for your letter of June 16, 2015 regarding the future of the provincially owned
Jericho Lands. 

As you are aware, the Province is currently engaged in discussions with First Nations about
potential opportunities regarding the future of the lands, and is focused on ful?lling its legal duty
to consult. Out of respect for that process, we intend to allow those discussions to conclude prior
to taking any further actions with regards to the future of the lands. 9

You will be aware that in any signi?cant development the City and the developer undertake
comprehensive community consultation as part of the master planning process.
