Varsity Volleyball Tournament 2015
to benefit AUTISM SPEAKS
Times and format:

• There will be three pools of 4 teams each and two pools of
three. Pool Play will begin at 9am sharp and consist of 2-21
point games for the pools with 4 teams, and 3-21 point games
for the pools with 3 teams. Win by 2 points with a cap at 30.
• All teams advance to playoffs.
• Seeding for playoffs will be based on the following order:
win-loss record, head-to-head, point differential, coin toss.
• Teams will be seeded 1 through 18 for playoffs.
o Teams ranked 1 through 6 will be in the GOLD Division
o Teams ranked 7 through 12 will be in the SILVER
Division.
o Teams ranked 13 through 18 will be in the BRONZE
Division.
• Playoffs will be one-25 point game for the first round,
followed by two out of three games for the semifinals and
finals of each bracket, with the deciding matches to 15 points,
if necessary.

 Pools:
We will be having 18 teams on 5 courts. A, C, and D will play each other in 2-21 point games, but B and E will
have 3-21 point games

After pool play, teams will be seeded for playoffs. See attached playoff schedule. Remember that if your
team loses, they must stay and work the next match on their court.
AWARDS
Medals will be earned by the top two teams in each division. A Trophy will be awarded to the winning team in
the GOLD Championship division. There will be trophies for All-Tournament players selected by the coaches
of all teams and the officials.
