They have created a product that could assist law enforcement in several ways. The product is a small plastic plug that fits into the empty space in the grip of our Glocks. It communicates wireless with a cell phone and can provide data such as when your gun is drawn, how many rounds have been fired, if your gun is taken away from you, etc. We are a part of their ?alpha? testing phase. We will be testing the product and providing them with electronic data so they can perfect the technology. If you agree to help me, it will not infringe upon you in anyway. The only thing you would be required to do is insert the plug, change the battery periodically, and carry the cell phone that accompanies the device while on duty. I have selected each of you for a reason. The yardarm folks wanted a diverse group of folks who are very active in different capacities to test their technology. Also, it would be a personal favor to me if you agree to help out. What I can promise is that you will likely get quite a few free rounds down range out of the deal. I would be meeting with you periodically at the range during your shifts to collect data the fun way. Please let me know if you have a major aversion to helping out so that I can find someone else to participate. If you are willing, stay tuned for more information. Thanks! Wes 32
