STATEMENT BY
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL NO.6386

The charter of the Knights of Columbus embodies certain principles, among them is support of
the clergy. In that regard, the Council, on three (3) occasions, provided funds to pay some of the
costs associated with Fr. Orozco’s immigration matters. The Council issued a check to a law
firm, the US Homeland Security Department and Fr. Orozco, totaling approximately $5,300.00.
The Council is proud to be associated with the St. Rose of Lima parish and has often drawn on
its strength, compassion and love to carry on its core mission. These traits are the result of a
resolute faith in God and the extraordinary leadership of the parish during the past 15 years.
