Dear Governor Scott,

Thank you for the opportunity to serve on the Hillsborough County Aviation
Authority. By asking me to apply for and serve as your appointee on this board
you allowed me to continue my thirty?year advocacy for the taxpayers of
Hillsborough County and provide the very ?rst minority representation to such an
important governing body in our county.

Today, I tender my resignation and wish you and your next appointee continued
success that carries fonNard the visionary legacy of our mutual and dear friend,
the late Steve Burton, which is now coming to fruition with an impressive
schedule of international ?ights backed by strong growth and operational
ef?ciencies as a direct result of his Chairmanship of this board.

I thank you in advance for attempting to seek out another leader from our
minority community that is also a ?scal conservative to cast meaningful votes on
this ?ve-person board to continue ensuring a potent combination of diversity and
responsible ?nancial stewardship which will serve the Tampa Bay region for
generations to come.
