THE COURT: People versus David Stojcevski.

THE DEFENDANT: Yes, Sir.

THE COURT: State your name, please.

THE DEFENDANT: David Stojcevski.

THE COURT: You have a warrant out for your
arrest. Your file reflects that you received two tickets
on November 22mh 2012: careless driving and no proof of
insurance. You had a court date, January 31?, 2013. You
could have either paid those tickets or appeared in court
to contest. You didn?t do either.

As a result, there was a show cause hearing
scheduled as to why you should not be held in contempt of
court for failing to pay. You didn?t appear for that. A
warrant was issued. Why did you not either come to court
or pay the tickets?

THE DEFENDANT: I justHI haven't been living at
my house on Groveland permanently, you know, and?

THE COURT: I'm sorry, your what permanently?

THE DEFENDANT: I haven?t been living there
permanently. You know, I just stay there sometimes and I
really don?t have no other excuse, you know, besides I
haven?t been living there permanently.

THE COURT: All right. The show cause hearing

why you should not be held in contempt of court
for failing to pay. So you have a right to have a
hearing. You have a right to be represented by an
attorney. If you?re unable to afford one, the Court will
consider appointing one for you. You can hire your own
attorney or represent yourself.

Now, this is just as to whether or not you paid
the ticket, so do you wish to be represented by an
attorney or do you wish to represent yourself?

THE DEFENDANT: Myself.

THE COURT: All right. How do you plead to
failing to pay?

THE DEFENDANT: Guilty.

THE COURT: What led you to be arrested and
brought into court today?

THE DEFENDANT: There was a disturbance at my
house yesterday.

THE COURT: All right. The amount you owe now is
$772 total. So yoo?ll have to pay that or 30 days in
jail. As soon as you pay you can be released. The warrant
is cancelled. You?re all set.
