Determination of Sanctions under Austin City Code, Section 2-7-49

On October 13, 2015, the City of Austin Ethics Review Commission (the “Commission”)
held a Final Hearing to consider the complaint filed against you on July 27, 2015. The
Commission requested your presence, but you did not attend the hearing. In accordance with
Chapter 2-7 of the Austin City Code, this letter is to advise you that the Commission has
completed its consideration of that complaint.
The complaint alleges that you violated Sections 2-2-25 (Annual Reconciliation Filing by
Candidates and Campaign Committees) and 2-2-42 (Annual Reconciliation of Campaign Debt)
of the Austin City Code. Following completion of the hearing procedures in Article 3 of Chapter
2-7, the Commission determined that violations have occurred. Specifically, the Commission
finds that you violated Sections 2-2-25 and 2-2-42 of the Austin City Code by failing to provide
the information as required by those sections.
The Commission further determines that this violation was committed through disregard
of Chapter 2-2 of the Austin City Code.
Based on those determinations, the Commission issues this reprimand to you.
This action is effective as of October 13, 2015.
