Biographies Senator Kelly Ayotte First elected to the Senate in 2010, she has distinguished herself as an independent leader who works across party lines to deliver results for New Hampshire. Nationally ranked as one of the most bipartisan members of the U.S. Senate and one of the most influential women in Congress, she has earned a reputation for bringing people together. A working mom and Nashua native who commutes to Washington every week, she is dedicated to pursuing policies that will create jobs and help grow the economy, bring common sense back to the government, and keep our country safe. Prior to her election to the U.S. Senate, she served as New Hampshire’s first female Attorney General. Senator Roy Blunt serves as the Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. He also serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee; the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee; and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He is the Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee and Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. Senator Jerry Moran After serving seven terms in the United States House of Representatives, Kansans elected Jerry Moran to the U.S. Senate in 2010. He is committed to strengthening the economy, opening up foreign markets to U.S. exports, and fostering the growth of small businesses. For the 2014 election cycle, Senator Moran served as National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman (NRSC). Under his leadership, Republicans gained a net increase of nine seats – the largest Senate swing by any party since 1980 and the largest Senate gain in a midterm election since 1958. August Wolf is launching his campaign bid for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 2016. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public Affairs, and is the current Ivy League record holder in the shot-put. He competed in the 1984 Olympic Games in the shot-put, and was two-time U.S. Champion in the event. August has over 25 years’ experience working in fixed income, equity, and alternative investment markets. His career started in 1983 at Kidder Peabody, and included tenures at Deutsche Bank, Paine Webber, BNP Paribas, Lazard, Mitsubishi-UFJ, and Credit Suisse. He now is a Managing Director at Lebenthal Asset Management. Wolf has also been an Outside Director of Holborn Corporation, a private reinsurance broker, since 1998. In 1990 he joined the Colorado U.S. Attorney’s Office where he became the Chief of the Criminal Division. Since 2004 he has been elected Weld County District Attorney three times by large margins. He led a staff of more than sixty people with a strong record of criminal prosecution and crime prevention. Since taking office in 2005 the crime rate in Weld County dropped 50%, one of the best records in the country. As a member of the U.S. Congress, he calls for a return to conservative principles to rein in the government, cut the massive spending, and pass a constitutional balanced budget amendment. Amb. John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., was appointed as United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations on August 1, 2005 and served until his resignation in December, 2006. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Bolton served as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security from May, 2001 to May, 2005. Ambassador Bolton currently serves as a foreign policy senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (“AEI”), a contributor to FOX News Channel and his op-ed articles are regularly featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Times.
