DETECTIVE EISENLOFFEL: As Ijust related to you, air, this is Detective Eisenloffai with the Nye County Sheriffs Office, My Pit is 1 WRITE transcription, inc. (7022) 2454822 74531, and I am making an application for a telephonic search warrant pursuant to NRS 179045. My application is as follows: am a peace officer employed by the Nye County Sheriff?s Office and have been employed for approximately eight years. am currently assigned to the general assignment detective division of the Pahrump substation. My duties include but are not limited to detection and investigation of violations of Nevada Revised Statute chapter 453.411, under the influence of a controlled substance. I believe that there is probable cause to believe that evidence exists of a violation of NRS 453.411, under the influence of a controlled substance, and that the evidence is currently concealed within the body of Lamar Odom, date of birth 11/6 of 1975. He is currently located at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. The property referred and sought to be seized consists of a sample of Mr. Odom's blood to be obtained in a medically accepted manner and to be analyzed for the presence of any controlled substances. I believe that the evidence sought exists due to the following circumstances; to wit on this date, October 13, 2015, at approximately 1516 hours, the Nye County Sheriff?s Office received a 911 call from the Leve Ranch, a brothel located in Nevada, reporting that a male customer was untesponsive and unconscious. Paramedics from the Pehmmp Valley Fire Rescue Service responded te the brethel and located the patient, later identified as Mr? Odom; aed began transperting him to Desert View Hespital here if?: Pahrumpt Detective Fewles and aise {esporaded subsequently and i WRITE tranec?ptien, inci (702) 245-4822 conducted a investigation. During the course of the investigation, we interviewed the manager of the Love Ranch as well as two prostitutes, which were engaged with Mr. Odom prior to the reported incident. The interview revealed that Mr. Odom arrived at the Love Ranch the prior Saturday. During his initial time at the Love Ranch, he was observed both by eyewitnesses as well as on video surveillance camera to be ingesting an unknown substance in the form of an unidenti?ed pill, which he obtained from his pocket in a plastic bag that was unmarked. it is unknown what the substance was. Through interviews with the prostitutes who were with him since that point, it was learned that he possibly ingested cocaine in the bathroom adjoining in the bedroom in which the prostitutes were located along with Mr. Odom. They indicated that they heard him snorting. They indicated that they had vague knowledge of him using illicit narcotics. A Triple or criminal history run by myself and Detective Fowles on Mr. Odom revealed that he has a prior history of illicit narcotics use, specifically driving under the influence of drugs at the time this was or this has occurred in 2013. We subsequently spoke with Mr. Odom's personal assistant at Desert View Hospital, who also indicated that he had knowledge that celebrities such as Mr. Odom often use illicit narcotics, and that he has actually witnessed Mr, Odom under the in?uence at narcotics. Due to my training and experience in investigating numerous narcotics-wrelated cases, which in same eases have led to teta! insapasitatien ts but net limited ts death, believe that Mr, Odsm 3 i transcription, inc. (702) 2454322 may have been under the influence of a controlled substance. it should also be noted that during the interviews with the prostitutes at the Love Ranch, they observed once they found him up unconscious to have a white substance coming from his mouth as well as bleeding from his nose. Those are all also which due to my training and experience, i recognize as signs or evidence of a drug overdose. Mr. Odom is currently located at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for treatment. would respectfully ask that this search warrant be granted in order for me to obtain a sample of his blood in a medically accepted manner so that it may be analyzed by the forensic laboratory at Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, specifically to be tested for the presence of illegal narcotics in order to further this investigation. Judge, that is all i have at this point. JUDGE LANE: Based on your testimony, it appears to the court that there?s probable cause for you to obtain the search warrant and do the blood draw. DETECTIVE Yes, sir. JUDGE LANE: is there anything else you need from me? DETECTIVE Yes. ljust need your permission for me to af?x your name on the duplicate search warrant; which I will then ferwerd to the ceurt along with this recording as well as a transcript or this recording. JUDGE LANE: Yes. Yeu have my permission. And furthermere. do i have i WRITE transcriptien, inc. (762) 24544822 your permission to serve this warrant with nighttime service seeing as it is currently past 7:00 JUDGE LANE: Yes.
