Notes for Unit Completions:

1) These numbers are estimates only. They were obtained by extracting JD Edwards/FAMIS
data for SFRA/OCIIs loan-related expenditures, and then manually eliminating non-multifamily
expenditures. The further back in time, the more likely it is that a change in accounting
methods or structure results in not capturing all data.
2) These are multi-family housing expenditures only.
3) Funds disbursed as grants are included.
4) Property aquisition by SFRA for multifamily projects is included.
5) Data extracted to 10/16/15

1) 2005 included completion of 726 Housing Preservation Program rehabilitation units and rehabilitation of 970
single room occupancy hotel units in the Tenderloin and South of Market
2) Lower production numbers in 2012 shows the impact of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency's
dissolution.
3) Projects usually complete construction or rehabilitation at least 1 year after OCII/SFRA or MOHCD expends its
construction funding for a project because conventional banks and tax credit investors always require local funds
be expended first.

2) These are multi-family housing expenditures only. Single-family downpayment assistance
and single-family rehab are excluded.
3) Funds disbursed as grants are not included.
4) Property aquisition by MOHCD is not included.
5) SFRA-related expenditures prior to dissolution not included. OCII expenditures similarly
excluded. Only LMIHAF expenditures made by MOHCD are included.
