Dear Ms. Fish:
This is in response to your request filed under the Inspection of Public Records Act ("the act") and
received by email on May 29, 2015 for "[a]n electronic spreadsheet or database of capital projects
included by specific lawmakers in severance tax and general obligation capital outlay bills from 2010
through 2014".
Attached to the email forwarding this letter are spreadsheets for the years 2010 through 2014 showing the
project identification number, the project title, the total cost of a given project, the purpose of the project,
the applicable agency code, where the project is located, the legislators who initially introduced the
project in their capital outlay requests and the total amount funded for the project. Note that the
spreadsheets do not include the final amounts, if any, requested by a specific legislator to a specific
project. Such information is exempt from disclosure under the act based on Section 2-3-13 NMSA 1978
and the privilege contained in Article 4, Section 13 of the Constitution of New Mexico.
