HOURS, CPL. WESTENDORF AND I (CPL. T. JOHNSON 19) WERE DISPATCHED TO A WELFARE CHECK AT 41 3 BALL ST. A
SAID THAT HIS GIRLFRIEND CALLED HIM AND TOLD HIM THEIR BABY WAS DEAD. CPL WESTENDORF ARRIVED ON SCENE AT
RRIVED A FEW MOMENTS AFTER. WESTENDORF WAS TALKING TO A FEMALE, LATER IDENTIFIED AS BLADES, UNDER THE

I HEARD WESTENDORF ASK HER WHERE THE BABY WAS, AND SHE TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS IN THE TRUNK OF THE CAR, AND
RD FOCUS. WE RETRIEVED THE KEYS TO THE CAR. WESTENDORF OPENED THE TRUNK. WE SEE THE
RONT OF THE CAR, TOLD US THAT IT WAS WRAPPED UP IN A TOWEL THAT WAS IN A PLASTIC SHOPPING BAG. I HAD

KTHE PLASTIC AND THE TOWEL AND DISCOVERED AN INFANT THAT APPEARED TO BE DECEASED. WE CALLED FOR

E, AND MEDICAL INVESTIGATOR. PLACED HANDCUFFS ON BLADES AND PLACED HER IN THE BACKSEAT OF MY PATROL
VIEDICS ARRIVED ON SCENE. PARAMEDIC A BIGHAM WAS ALLOWED TO EXAMINE THE BABY, AND HE OBSERVED THAT IT
HAD VISIBLE LIVIDITY IN THE EXTREMITIES. HE PRONOUNCED THE INFANT DECEASED.

E. LUECKE READ HER MIRANDA AND SHE AGREED TO WAVE HER RIGHTS AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. DURING
