Educational Consulting Agreement I
Scope of Work

Richard M. Romero, DBA Romero Consulting, LLC, and Michael Chavez, DBA Michael Chavez Consulting LLC, will provide
consulting services for the Nuestros Valores Charter School. This support includes, but is not limited to the following:

Represent the Nuestros Valores Charter School as their Community and Government Outreach Coordinators.
Help build strategic partnerships With the Albuquerque Public Schools, the State of New Mexico, the City of
Albuquerque, the County of Bernalillo, business communities and other community agencies.

Arrange for sponsors and lobby for capital outlay monies for school indentified projects. 

Keep the Nuestros Valores Charter School informed about governmental affairs and educational legislation
which might affect the school. I

Arrange to have Principal Monica Aguilar, present the charter school?s programs before the LegislatiVe Finance
Committee and the Legislative Education Study Committee during the interim as needed.

Set up meetings with key legislators, including newly elected legislators, to ask for support for the Nuestros
Valores Charter School. -

Arrange lunch or dinner ?thank you" events for key supportive legislators.

Provide educaticinal consultation throughout the year.

Be available to provide legislative/educatiOnal workshops to staff, school community, and governing board.

The cost of this work for one year is $9000 plus New Mexico Gross Receipts Taxes. Romero Consulting, LLC requests
payment in the amount of $750 at the first of each of the following months: February, April, June, August, October and
December, 2016. Michael Chavez, LLC requests payment in the amount of $750 at the first of each of the following
months: January, March, May, July, September, and November, 2016. Each consultant will invoice Nu'estros Valores
Charter School for the appropriate payments.
