November 30, 2015 PRESS RELEASE Harbour Link Container Services Inc. regrets to report that its operations are behind picket lines today. UNIFOR-VCTA, the Union certified to represent drivers employed by the Company, commenced strike action this morning. We have been engaged in collective bargaining negotiations with the Union since the summer. Several other container trucking employers have now reached agreements with the Union and we hope to do the same. Our goal is to achieve a collective agreement that is compatible with our Company’s unique operations. We intend to continue negotiating with the Union to that end. The local container trucking sector is regulated by the B.C. Container Trucking Act and Regulation, which is administered by the Office of the B.C. Container Trucking Commissioner. Harbour Link has paid its drivers the legislated rates mandated for off-dock and on-dock container movements since the rates were implemented – there has never been any dispute in this respect. The matter of retro pay required under the new legislation is a great challenge for all employers in the container drayage sector. Harbour Link has been cooperating with the Commissioner’s Office to ensure retro pay is calculated and imposed consistently on all container trucking employers. Harbour Link has expressed in very clear terms to the Commissioner’s Office that the Company will fulfill its retro pay obligations under the Act as directed by the Commissioner’s Office in accordance with the mandated audit process by the Commissioner that is currently being undertaken. We do not believe the current strike action advances the interests of any of the parties and we hope that a resolution can be achieved quickly. In the meantime, we are grateful for the support and patience of our customers and staff during this difficult period. ### About Harbour Link Container Services Inc.: Harbour Link provides on-dock and off-dock container trucking and off-dock container terminal services to all sectors of the container shipping community.
