In June, 2012, John Stanton Verble began voluntarily providing information to
the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) related to allegations of possible insider trading
involving his employer, Morgan Stanley. On August 28, 2012, the FBI and the Internal
Revenue Service traveled to Atlanta, Georgia and met with the US. Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) to discuss potential investigative matters, including the information
provided by Verble.
