Response from One Call Care Management
Educational conferences such as the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability
Conference typically have evening events for networking and socializing, usually sponsored
by companies in the industry as a cost of doing business, and offering refreshments, music
and sometimes entertainment. Our event was one of these opportunities. Our event chose a
“Cirque de Soleil” theme in keeping with the location of Las Vegas.
The focus of One Call Care Management is to make sure that injured workers receive the
best care possible, quickly and efficiently. We have introduced a number of innovations such
as identifying the best providers in workers’ compensation and helping injured workers have
access to these providers and identifying best-in-class experts in a broad spectrum of
specialties from physical therapy to diagnostic radiology to dental and doctor specialties.
We help to improve the knowledge and skill of individuals in workers’ compensation with one
of the most comprehensive continuing education programs in workers’ compensation,
provided free of charge to participants.
Having opportunities for our colleagues to meet and connect is important for workers’
compensation and for any industry. We’ve facilitated these connections and dialogues in
many ways, through educational programs, educational sessions onsite at companies,
workshops presented at conferences, and social events.
