Sproules Detective Donald LaGarde Autopsy Guillermo Rodrigues 429 North ·Montello Street Brockton, MA June 25, 1942 Th victim was shot on November 11, 1985, at approximately 10:30 p.m., and died at the Brockton Hospital at 1:00 a.m., November 14,1985. The autopsy was held at the Brockton Hospital, 680 Centre Street, Brockton, MA at 5:00 p.m. PRESENT : Medical Examiner: Doctor H6ward Carpenter Pathologist: Doctor John Duvally Diener: Gordon Langill Photographer: Officer Walter Mehl, Brockton Police II Observer: Detective Donald LaGarde, " State Police Pho tographer: Trooper Richard Lauria Mass State Police Observer: Trooper Edward Whelan Mass State Police A complete visual examina tion was done of the body prior to the autopsy, and it was noted tha t there was a tattoo cf a flower on the right shoulder. Also, an 8 11 scar running vertically, just the right of the center line of the body. Ev idently this was the result of an operation done in the hospita l. It was determined that the victim was 6'1" tall and weighed 210 lb s. The victim was fingerprinted by Officer Walter Mehl and photographed by Offi cer Mehl and Trooper Lauria. A complete autopsy was done and it was determined at this time that death was caused by a gun shot wound to the abdomen resulting in severe internal hemorrhaging.
