Specifically, you state you received spoiled milk. You request for a replacement carton. An investigation of the issues raised in your Inmate Request to Staff Member (?Cop-out?) has been conducted. The results of the investigation reveal every effort is made to serve fresh milk. Milk is kept under the proper temperatures and rotated properly. The policy of the ADX Food Service Department is not to replace an item after the fact. The procedure at the ADX if this or any food service issue ever arises again is to bring it to the immediate attention of the number 1 Unit Of?cer. The Of?cer and Food Service staff will make every effort to correct the problem immediately. You may discuss any additional issues with the food service staff during our weekly rounds. I trust this addresses your concerns. E.
