John Duncan is Auckland?based and has extensive management experience and experience in global financial markets, including banking, DCM, ECM, and risk management. He is currently working as advisor on funding, risk management, balance sheet and capital issues for Auckland City Council. Prior to this Mr Duncan was the Executive Director Head of DCM for Goldman Sachs New Zealand, where he was involved in a large number of domestic and international funding transactions across Australia and New Zealand. He also provided advice to the Reserve Bank of NZ, Treasury and Ministers of the Crown on a range of financial issues and in particular the Crown Balance Sheet. Mr Duncan is a designate member of the Public Trust Board with his first term commencing 1 November 2015.
