Franklin OhioHealth  Grant  Medical   OhioHealth's  Grant  Medical  Center  is  proposing  to  add  a  trauma  bay  and  construct  a  new  helipad.    The  primary   Center  Trauma  Center   goal  of  this  project  is  to  continue  providing  high-­‐quality  trauma  care  to  the  region  by  meeting  the  demands  of  a   $1,000,000.00 Expansion consistently  growing  patient  need.   Franklin This  $12.2  million  Campaign  will  fund  the  construction  of  a  new,  state-­‐of-­‐the-­‐art  domestic  violence  shelter,  the   only  such  facility  in  Franklin  County.    It  includes  funding  for  three  years  of  incremental  operating  costs,  program   CHOICES  for  Victims  of   expansion  and  enhancements,  a  community  needs  analysis,  an  awareness  campaign,  and  a  building  maintenance   $1,500,000.00 Domestic  Violence  Campaign fund. Pickaway The  Lincoln  Theatre  Association  requests  a  grant  for  vital  renovations  of  the  Lincoln  Theatre.  Renovations  will   include  repairing  masonary  mortar  joints,  tuck-­‐pointing,  and  upgrading  HVAC  systems.    The  Lincoln  Theatre   Renovations  of  the  Lincoln   provides  signifincant  services  for  Columbus'  African  American  community  and  the  general  population  of  Franklin   Theatre County.   Franklin   Founded  in  2008,  the  Strand  Theatre  and  Cultural  Arts  Association,  an  independent  non-­‐profit  501c3  organization   which  owns  and  operates  the  theatre,  seeks  $500,000  in  State  Community  Project  support  for  renovation  of  the   Balcony  Theatre  and  first  floor  lobby  along  with  installation  of  a  new  HVAC  system    to  serve  the  lobby  area  and   Historic  Strand  Theatre   lighting  in  this  late  19th  century  era  building.  State  support  will  complete  the  last  remaining  components  of  the   Renovation     Strand  renovation  plan.     Delaware The  Childhood  League  Center  is  recognized  regionally  as  a  center  of  excellence  in  the  education  of  yourng   children,  especially  those  with  special  needs.    We  respectfully  request  support  to  install  an  outdoor  adaptive   playscape  at  our  new  home  at  the  FT.  Hayes  Campus.    Critical  to  healthy  development,  the  playscape  is  specially   Outdoor  Adaptive  Playscape designed  for  the  children  we  serve. Franklin Widening  &  resurfacing  of  the  existing  Heritage  Rail  Trail  (2.5  miles  between  Hayden  Run  Road  and  Old  Hilliard)   Heritage  Rail  Trail  Extentsion from  approximately  10'  to  16'  to  accommodate  the  growing  use  of  the  trail  by  walkers  and  bicysclists.   Franklin   Initiative  to  Improve  the   Dahlberg  Gibson  Learning  Center  was  created  in  1974  and  has  been  providing  early  intervention  services  for   Infrastructure  of  Dahlberg-­‐ children  with  special  needs  aged  12  months  to  five  years  ever  since.  Located  in  a  former  elementary  school,  the   Gibson  Learning  Center  for  Pre-­‐  Center  serves  as  many  as  140  special  needs  and  typically  developing  children  each  school  year  with  an  additional   K  Children  with   60  participating  in  a  10-­‐week  summer  program.  Each  year,  over  95%  of  the  Center’s  students  reach  their   Developmental  and   Individual  Educational  Program  goals  and  68%  of  students  transition  to  inclusion  in  kindergarten  classes.  In  order   Intellectual  Disabilities  and   to  continue  this  program  there  are  critical  infrastructure  improvements  needed  to  continue  to  meet  demand  for   their  Families   early  childhood  education  in  Franklin  County.
