MOTION

WE MOVE, that as neighborhood revitalization work continues and our business districts become more
densely populated, utilized, and trafficked, that pedestrian safety is a top priority; and

WE MOVE, that the Administration provide a report of the most dangerous crosswalks or intersections
or other thoroughfares from the perspective of pedestrian safety, including those with the highest
number of pedestrians (or bicycles) that have been hit by vehicles (or collided with bicycles), and that
the report provide options for improving safety in these locations such as lighted crosswalks or various
alternative street calming measures or signage.
