l. Attached herewith is copy of a letter from Dr.
Hans Heilbronner of Monteviueo concerning two 121 oil-
paintings by Kaulbach, dated lO July 1947, forwarded to
this headquarters by HFA&A authorities in Lunich, on 15
October 1947. Photostats of subject paintings are enclosed.

2. To date, these canvases could not be identified at
the Central dollecting Point, munich. lnvestigntion is
under way.

5. Dr. Heilbronner has been notified that his claim
is one for internal restitution.

4. It is requested that an endeavor be nade to locate
this missing property and any inrornation available in ¿our
office be transmitted to this section.
