agreeing to this form of discipline to be given to the child listed below.

 

it is our ?rm belief that discrete and sensitive use of corporal is an re?ective disciplinary
alternath for children. Children of all ages are given lots of love and praise for their good

behavior. Should biting. hair pulling, hitting. or other inappropriate behavior oomr. we begin with verbal
communication to deter the misbehavior. We progress to a 'time out' tor the child. It n-lisbelwaurior
continues, we have found that a 'hot hand' can be effective and is oarselhlI all the discipline that a child
needs. A 'hot hand" cimphgI consists oi 1-3 pope on a child's hand [we the guide below} with the
teed-let's hand and may ONLY be administered to children one year old or older. Every time your child
receives a hot band. we will send home notification that same day.
