Thank you for contacting my of?ce. Please accept my heartfelt expression of sympathy in
the passing of your daughter, Jennifer Jenkins. I am sorry to learn about the dif?culty your
family has experienced.

I understand you are working with the Florida Highway Patrol and the State Attorney's
Office. To ensure they are aware of your concerns about the state budget for accident
investigations, the centralization of criminal records, and other issues, I shared your letter with
the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and my of?ce of Policy and
Budget.

Words bring little consolation in this dif?cult time, but you can be assured Jennifer's
presence will be missed by all who loved her and for the contributions she made to her family
and the community. The loss of a loved one is difficult to accept. May you receive comfort in
the memories you hold of this special person in your life.
