Allegations:

Staff gave child Benadryl to make him fall asleep. Children are ?flicked? in the mouth
when they are hitting or rough housing with each other. Facility is out of ratio.

Summary of Investigation (Deimain):

On May 13, 2013, CCFS Ahlemeyer made an announced investigation to the facility.
CCFS Ahlemeyer began her investigation by interviewing staff member Sherri Spalinger.
Ms Sherri stated that'she heard about the incident with child A being given Benadryl
from Kelly Ferner, staff. Ms Sherri stated that Ms Kelly said Kathy McFall and Selene
Snyder were laughing about giving Child A Benedryl to ?knock him out.? Ms Sherri also

said that she usually has 14 children by herself on Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays, and
Fridays.
