HealthSpan Physicians is closing on March 31, 2016, and we want to make this transition as easy as possible for
you. After HealthSpan Physicians closes, you may be able to continue to see your physician in many of the same
locations that you do now.
Many of the doctors and allied health professionals of HealthSpan Physicians will be transitioning to
employment with The MetroHealth System and Summa Health. MetroHealth and Summa are expanding, and will
also be operating many of HealthSpan’s medical facilities after March 31.
In this booklet, you can find a listing of the current HealthSpan Physicians facilities that will soon be operated
by MetroHealth or Summa, as well as the providers that will practice at those locations and the services that
will be offered. You can also see a list of all other HealthSpan providers that will no longer practice in one of our
current facilities and their contact information (if that information has been provided to us).
