Whiteside and I am commissioned as a peace officer by the Benbrook Police Department. A. That Affiant, Detective J. Whiteside, is a Detective with the Benbrook Police Department. Affiant has been a peace officer for more than six (6) years. Affiant is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section of the Benbrook Police Department where he is responsible for conducting investigations involving Homicides, Suicides, Aggravated Assaults, and other related or similar criminal offenses. B. There is in Tarrant County, Texas, a suspected place, premises and/or vehicle (S) described and located as follows: 6627 Waterwood Trail, in the City of Benbrook, Tarrant County, Texas, 76132. The said residence is further described as a multi-room duplex located on the south side of Waterwood Trail. The said residence is constructed of brick which is painted an off-white color. The residence has a gray/brown colored composition roof. There is a garage attached to the duplex on the northwest front side. The numbers 6627 are prominently displayed on the north side of the garage near a light fixture. The numbers face north toward Waterwood Trail. The address is also displayed on the mailbox in front of the property. C. lt is the belief of Affiant that located at the previously described residence there is evidence of criminal offenses of Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Capital Murder to wit: 1: Weapons, including but not limited to firearms, knives, cutting instruments, or Specifically any object that could be used to stab or cut another person. 2: The bodies of two deceased Children. 3: Blood, saliva, vomit, or any other bodily fluids from victims or possibly a suspect. 4. Clothing, bedding, rags, towels or any other clothes or linens. 5. A blue 1991 Volvo 240 bearing Texas personalized plate which is parked in the driveway of the above listed residence. 6. Affiant has probable cause for said belief by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1. On 3/17/16 at 0948 hours, Officers were dispatched to 6627 Waterwood Trail. The reporting person informed Benbrook Dispatch that he had arrived home to find his wife ?going crazy" and with blood on her. The reporting person further reported that his wife did not have a weapon. The reporting person added that his two children were in the bed not moving. Officers arrived on scene and located a white female with a stab wound to her chest and cut marks on the inside of both her left and right wrist. Officers located two children deceased in a bedroom in a bed. The oldest child, 5 years of age, was in a bunk bed or captain?s bed. The youngest child, possibly 2 years of age, was in the master bedroom bed where the mother was also located. The children showed no obvious signs of trauma. The children were cold to the touch and rigor mortis had already set in. Benbrook Fire and EMS arrived on scene. Captain Jackie Hartman with the Benbrook Fire Department briefly inspected the children and located no obvious signs of trauma. Captain Hartman stated the 2 year old had foam-like substance around her mouth. The female with the stab wound was still alive and was transported to JPS Hospital by Benbrook Fire and EMS. Officers located a knife in the master bedroom bathroom in the residence. There was also blood inside the bath tub. There also appeared to be blood in the master bedroom closet. The Volvo in the driveway reportedly was driven to the scene this morning by the reporting person and father of the children. it is unknown at this time if he was involved in the deaths of the children. Officers believe that any vehicles that were used by the above mentioned white female may possibly be parked inside the garage at 6627 Waterwood Trail, Benbrook, TX 76132.
