Rachel and Bill,
I mentioned last night at the Exec Bd meeting that we were looking at the possibility
of a new acquisition last night, and Karim’s immediate response was “I thought we
decided we would not consider any additional Isaac Katz buildings?”
I basically, said, “well, that’s an issue we want to bring before the REIC for a
discussion…in our tracts, Isaacs seems to have ownership of most of the
properties.”
But I wanted to flag this as an issue now for us that will need to be addressed. I
also recall that we had said “this is the last one” on Isaac’s last building(s) we
acquired, so this will be a larger conversation…and may take some convincing if
we’re to move forward.
