We're already tapped into the brokerage community through Jordan. We need to ?nd buildings that aren't listed. I'm thinking someone who would drive or better yet, walk each block in our tracts looking for opportunities. The Jefferson building I researched before is now vacant and I am speaking with the owner. This is the building the owner took back from his tenant who was using it as a halfway house. The challenge with this one is the recent occupany. Let's talk more Tuesday. I am concerned that if we hit any kind of snag with the current pipeline we don?t have enough cushion. It?s possible also, that we could ask for a census tract change if we found something near our geography. Thoughts? Rachel Hyman Chief Operating Of?cer Habitat for Humanity-NYC
