The Delence Procurement Policy Manual at chapter 3.2 paragraph 13 states that "Risks are inherent in the planning and conduct ot Complex procurements, theretore Procurement otticers must document and use a risk management plan tor these procurements. A tailure to adequately identity risks and develop adequate strategies to manage those risks may result in- [among other Ihings] damage to the reputation ot the Commonwealth, Delence or the individuals in conducting the procurement activity". The Australian Standard tor Delence Contracting.(AsnEPCONl tendering and contracting templates used by Delence lorcomplex procurements have detault provisions governing the probity ot the tender process to ensure there is no collusive or conduct, bribery, contlicts ot interest, improper assistance or breaches ot contidentiality. In addition, most ot these ASDEFCON templates require that tenderers advise it they or any Related Bodies Corporate and their ollicers have been convicted ot bribery during the last seven years, and the Commonwealth reserves the right to exclude a tender in such a case.
