More than 2 million trees have been produced. The farmers have organized in two cooperatives. 2 processing centers were established under the responsibility of the 2 cooperatives and 2 “Vita goats” for production of soymilk were procured and installed. A final evaluation of Farmers Clubs was conducted after the completion of the program by Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Mr. Murphy Kajumi. The evaluation report documents the following outcomes: ü ü Program goal: 50% increase in income for participating farmers Achieved: • In the period from 2009 to 2011, the increase in income amongst the initial 6000 club members was 44%; • In 2011-2012 the increase in income for the 3,750 additional farmers was 76%.
