Dea Ca ndidate,

The Democratic booth at the St. Lucie County Fair is a resource that the Democratic Party offers to the
candidates who support and respect the Party and its efforts to secure Democratic victories. if you are a
candidate and want to have a presence in this booth, you must demonstrate that you meet these
requirements to the Party. 

To do so, you must, first, make an appointment with the County Democratic Chair Celeste Bush. At this
meeting, you must be prepared to make a case for your candidacy, both the reasons driving your
decision to enter a race and your plan for securing a victory. The latter includes not only your strategy to
WEN, but how you plan to finance your campaign.

The Democratic Party is established to elections. We only recognize candidates, which are
candidates that have, or can demonstrate, a practical strategy to WIN. it is the responsibility of the
candidate to initiate this discussion as soon as possible.

Our job as a Party is to elect Democrats. That said, it also means we will protect our elected Democrats
currently holding an office. if, and only if, you can show reason for your opposition, as well as meet the
responsibilities mentioned previously, we will respect your candidacy.

A candidate who meets the criteria above and wishes to utilize the Democratic Booth is expected to
contribute to the $1,000 cost of the booth. if this sounds tough or over the top, please remember that
our goal is to elect Democrats. This is not achievable when Democrats attack Democrats. We need to
work together to reach our goals.
