From: Jenninqg Bart To: Megan): Cc: Clitandon, Kevin Subject: Pilot Knob CRF waivers Date: Friday, December 18, 2015 4:12:44 PM Here are some answers so far: 1. Mixed-income, Accessible, Reasonably-priced, and Transit-oriented 2. As part of SMART Housing (Chapter 25-9-347 of the Austin City Code) all development fees can be waived 3. In the ordinance approved yesterday (20151217-80, Part the fee amount waived will be placed in an AHFC fund for the City to purchase lots in Pilot Knob and pay for related City costs for affordable housing. The actual number of fee waivers is unknown. However, I talked with Richard Suttle and he indicated that there would be approximately 6,500 single family and 4,500 other LUEs. The ordinance indicates that 10% of the owner- occupied residential units will be SMART Housing. So with our CRFs at $7,600 (because the land is just being platted), the loss in revenue could total $4,940,000 (650*7600). Richard indicated that they did not get any additional benefits. They had a deadline to get the PUD approved and that the Council Member required this provision. If you need some additional information, please let me know. Bart
