Corporal Nelson advised that a bus carrying 22 people wrecked, hitting the North Hills Bridge and that there were 6 confiMed fatalities on scene at this time. Corporal Nelson advised that no further information was available at this time. I contacted Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele to inform this of this case and responded to the scene. Upon arrival I was met by Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele seVeral officers with the North Little Rock Police Department and Arkansas State Police along with several fire ?ghters, the Department of Homeland Security, and Arkansas Red Cross. I met Corporal Nelson who advised that the bus was carrying individuals that were all from Mexico and that none of the deceased were identi?ed at this time. No further --information-was available at-this timewas then directed to where the decedent was found, on the interstate between the bus and the bridge (coming from bridge to the bus, this was the body underneath the N. Hills bridge). At this time complete scene pictures were taken. I then came back to the individual and took overall pictures. The decedent was covered with a white sheet. The sheet was removed and pictures were taken of the decedent. The body was clad in a black jacket, blue/black shirt, blue jeans, black belt, black socks, and red underwear. The decedent had obvious severe head trauma. I then moved on to photograph the other decedents that were found lying in the roadway. I then came back to this decedent, and with the assistance of Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele, placed him in a yellow body bag. The decedent was then placed in the Pulaski County Coroner's mobile mass casualty unit. Once at the morgue, the decedent was place on an exam table. Overall pictures were taken and the clothing and personal items were removed. The decedent was a well developed, well nourished Hispanic male. The decedents eyes were brown in color, cloudy, and appeared to be dry. The decedent was noted to have a very large, long laceration to the head that was from the left temporal region and extended down the left side of the face, underneath and across the neck, and stopped near the right ear. This laceration was very deep with large vessels and airway anatomy visible. There were also large, deep lacerations just above the left eye. There was obvious deformity and crepitus to the nasal and oral regions. There were diffuse abrasions to the central and left side of the chest. The left arm had obvious deformity and crepitus with an open fracture noted to the left wrist. There was a large, deep laceration to the left forearm. The left hand/palm had a large laceration. The clothing was put into a bag. The personal items were put into and brown paper bag and included miscellaneous moneys that totaled $805.08, black wallet with contents, and black wraparound ear buds. The body was clad in a gray jacket, black/red shirt, black T?shirt, blue jeans, browa belt, gray underwear, brown boots, and black socks. The decedent had obvious severe head trauma. I then moved on to photograph the other decedents that were found in the bus. I then came back to this decedent, and with the assistance of Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele. and the North Little Rock Fire Department we were able to place the decedent on a spine board and slide him down a ladder to the ground. Once on the ground we placed him in a yellow body bag. The decedent was then placed in the Pulaski County Coroner?s mobile mass casualty unit; Once at the morgue, the decedent was placed on an exam table. Overall pictures were taken and the clothing and personal items were removed. The decedent was a well developed, well nourished Hispanic male. The decedents eyes were brown in color, cloudy, and appeared to be dry. The decedent was noted to have very severe head trauma. Corporal Nelson advised that a bus carrying 22 people wrecked, hitting the North Hills Bridge and that there were 6 con?rmed fatalities on scene at this time. Corporal Nelson advised that no further information was available at this time. I contacted Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele to inform this of this case and responded to the scene. Upon arrival I was met by Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner Julie Voegele several officers with the North Little Rock Police Department and Arkansas State Police along with several fire ?ghters, the Department of Homeland Security, and Arkansas Red Cross. I met Corporal Nelson who advised that the bus was carrying individuals that were all from Mexico and that none of the deceased were identified at this time. No further 'itifof?iatibn was available Sit this time. a I was then directed to where the decedent was found, on the interstate between the bus and the bridge (coming from bridge to the bus, this was the middle body on the road and was face down) . At this time complete scene pictures were taken. I then came back to the individual and took overall pictures. The decedent was covered with a white sheet. The sheet was removed and pictures were taken of the decedent. The body was clad in a black ?eece jacket. black plaid shirt, white T-shirt, black underwear, gray pants, brown/white belt, and black socks. The decedent had obvious severe head trauma. I then moved on to photograph the other decedents that were found lying in the roadway. I then came back to this decedent, and with the assistance of Coroner Gerone Hobbs and Chief Deputy Coroner uh'e Voegele, placed him in a yellow body bag. The decedent was then placed in the Pulaski County Coroner's mobile mass casualty unit. One at the morgue, the decedent was place on an exam table. Overall pictures were taken and the clothing and personal items were removed. The decedent was a well developed, well nourished Hispanic male. The decedents eyes were brown in color, cloudy, and appeared to be dry. The decedent had an open skull fracture of the entire right side of the skull with brain matter noted to be showing, obvious facial deformity and crepitus, diffuse abrasion to the chest, both hands, and right foot. There was a linear laceration to the left heel. Additional pictures were taken at this time. The clothing was put into a bag. The personal items were put into and brown paper bag and include 3 bracelets, miscellaneous change, 2 chap sticks, 2 $1 bills, and a black cell phone case (no cell phone). At this time the decedent was identified by a survivor of the wreck, J. The decedent was noted to have a very large laceration, about 3 inches above the right ear; this laceration was noted to be through the scalp and had gray matter coming from the open skull fracture. The decedent was noted to have diffuse crepitus to the skull and facial region. The decedent was noted to have diffuse abrasion to the right shoulder and right arm. The right humerus had obvious deformity and crepitus; there were multiple lacerations just below the armpit and to the lateral aspect of the right upper arm.
