The Permanent Mission of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the United Nations presents its
compliments to the Of?ce of the President of the General Assembly, and with reference to its letter
dated 30 march 2016, regarding General Assembly resolution 70/228 on the organization of the United
Nations 2016 high?level meeting on and the attached list of non-governmental
organizations (N G03), civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector, which
have applied to participate in the high?level meeting form 8-10 June 2016, has the honor to inform the
esteemed Of?ce, in its capacity as the coordinator of the OIC group on human rights and humanitarian
issues to the objection on the participation of the following NGOs to the high?level meeting from 8-10
June 2016 on behalf of a group of 51 states from the OIC group comprising Afghanistan, Algeria,
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad,
