FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST 473

Thank you for your email of 27 April requesting information regarding the use of IMSI
Catchers/Stingrays on HIAL property On behalf of Highlands 8. Islands Airports (HIAL) i can
confirm that, as far as we are able to establish, these devices are not used within any HIAL Property
and HIAL holds no information relating ro their use. Therefore, for the purposes of FOISA, no
information is held that is relevant to the requests in your correspondence in accordance with
Section 17(1)lb).

if you are unhappy With this response to your request you may ask us to carry our an internal review
by writing to Mr Mark Stuart, Director of Operations at the address above. Your request should
explain why you wish a review to be carried out and should be made within 40 working days of
receipt of this letter. The review will be undertaken by staff not involved in the original process and
we will reply within 20 working days of receipt If you are not satisfied with the result of our review
you then have the right to make a formal complaint to the Scottish Information Commissioner. The
