SUGGESTION PROGRAM

POLICY
A.

Suggestions from School Police Personnel made individually or jointly, which
lead to increased efficiency and/or economy of operations and pertain to savings
or improvements in safety, health, morale, etc. within the Office of School Safety
shall be recognized.

B.

All Supervisors should encourage personnel under their command to
submit suggestions.

PROCEDURE
A.

The employee who submits a suggestion should:
1.
Prepare a Memo in duplicate and distribute as follows:
a.
Original to the immediate supervisor, and forward through the
chain of command
b.
Copy to be retained by employee.

PROCESSING
A.

Each suggestion will be objectively analyzed and acted upon.

B.

Each person making a suggestion will be informed of the status of his/her
suggestion.

C.
The identity of a suggesting employee will not be revealed unless
recognition is granted and the employee is in agreement.
IV.

RECOGNITION
A.

The Chief Safety Executive of the Office of School Safety will be the final
authority.
