1. Open pouch. Using the
provided collection device,
deliver one small measure
of the suspected drug into
the bottom of the pouch.

2. Seal pouch. Tap, if nec-
essary, to ensure sample is
in bottom of pouch.

3. Break (not crush)
ampoules in sequence
from left to right. (Apply
pressure between thumb
and forefinger in the
center.)

4. Break the first ampoule
and immediately look for a
blue color (or blue flakes in
a pink background). Break
the second and the newly

developed blue flash will
turn pink with agitation.
Break the third, agitate for 3
seconds and the color will
layer with pink over blue.

PLACE USED TEST
IN DISPOSAL BAG AND
DISCARD IMMEDIATELY.
DD NOT SUBMIT WITH
EVIDENCE.

*The sequence changes

in step 4 above assume a
positive test result. If no

blue develops after breaking
the ?rst ampoule, you may
have ?crack?. Proceed with
ampoules two and three and
observe color changes before
determining a positive or
negative result.

1. Abre la bolsa. Usa el aparato
de muestra proveido, ponga
una peque?a medida de la
droga sospechosa al fondo de
esta bolsa.

2. Sella la bolsa. Dale un
golpecito. si es necesario, para
segurar que la muestra asentada
al fondo de la bolsa.

3. Rompa (sin despedazar) la
ampolleta de izquierda a derecha
(aplique presidn entre el dedo
pulgar el dedo indice en el
centro).

4. Rompa la primera ampolleta 
inmediatamente espere el color
azul (o escamas de azul sobre
un fondo rosado). Rompa la
segunda ampolleta otro color
azul aparecera inmediata-
mente se cambiara a rosa con
poca agitacidn. Rompa Ia
tercera ampolleta, agitese por 3
segundos el color empezara a
tornarse rosa sobre el azul.

DESECHESE INMEDIATA-
MENTE. NO SE ENTBEGUE
CON LA EVIDENCIA.

*La secuencia cambia en el paso
numero 4, anteriormente descrito,
asumiendo un resultado posi-
tivo. Si no aparece el color azul
despues de romper la primera
ampolleta, aumenta la cantidad de
la muestra. Si todavia no aparece
azul, pare deseche. lndica un
resultado negativo.

HELPFUL TIPS

Before the test, open the
pouch fully and allow any
static buildup to dissipate.

After the test, we recom-
mend slowly adding 1/2
teaspoon of baking soda.
Let it neutralize completely
before resealing and dis-
posing.
