It is also the intention of this Board to increase the salary of the Town Clerk by 1.5% for the year 2002. Both goals are accomplished by this Local Law. A full discussion of this Local Law is contained in the Minutes of the January 24, 2002 meeting. - On motion of Councilman Carmella, seconded by Councilman SOappaticci, with all members voting the Hearing was opened. There was no comment from the public- Councilman Scappaticci pointed out that there was a typographical error in the listing of the salary of the Supervisor, that the proposed Local Law stated the salary as $114,382, and it should be $1 14,386, one dollar more than the salary of the Chief of Police. It was agreed that the typographical error would be corrected.
