Employment History City of Columbus Division of Police, Columbus, OH September, 1989 Deputy Chief of Police 2010-Present Serve as the Chief of Police in the absence of the sitting Chief. During my tenure as Deputy Chief lead the completion, occupation and staffing of a new 32,000 sq. /ft. state-of-the?art, accredited, crime lab. Created a Chaplaincy pro gram in and lead a group that instituted a Peer Assistance program. Lead the Homeland Security Subdivision where, in 2011, as an invited guest of the British Consulate, traveled to Kent, UK and spoke with Law Enforcement professionals from across the United Kingdom on the challenges posed by the in?ux of immigrants from the former Somalia. Served as Incident Commander for the Arnold Sports Classic (largest sports festival in the United States) and in a Unified Command capacity for The Ohio State University football games (150,000 plus attendees).
