The Receive capability of the Tactical radio(s) is unaffected by this modification. LIMITATIONS The limitations specified in the basic flight manual and in the flight manual supplements remain applicable and are completed or modified by the following: Prohibited Operations Transmission on non-aviation Tactical Radios is prohibited between 29.7 to 59.0 This frequency range has been shown to interfere with VCR and ILS navigation receivers. Placard TRANSMIT FROM 29.7 TO 59.0 MHZ PROHIBITED Location: Instrument Panel EMERGENCY AND MALFUNCTION PROCEDURES The emergency procedures specified in the basic flight manual and in the flight manual supplements remain applicable. NORMAL PROCEDURES The normal procedures specified in the basic flight manual and in flight manual supplements remain applicable and are modified by the following: Switch Operation If interference is noted on any navigation or aviation VHF communication equipment when transmitting on any non-aviation Tactical radio(s), the pilot can elect to disable the transmit capability of these radios by activating the TACTICAL pushbutton annunciator switch to the OFF position. Engaging the switch to the OFF position disables radio transmission (including radio transmissions in progress) on RT5000 No. ?l (RT1), RT5000 No. 2 (RT2), and the 350FMS-524, Rev: Initial Release Page 4 of 5 American Eurocopter Corporation Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement 2701 N.
